With a focus on visual narrative, my work explores themes of identity, memory, and performance. Playing with humour and the role of the viewer, many of my projects examine how lived experience is translated into forms of digital documentation.
Drawing on an interdisciplinary background in editorial art direction, graphic design, and frequent doodling, Erin has been an artist-in-residence at the Banff Centre (2010). She holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Visual Art from Simon Fraser University, a certificate in Publishing from Columbia University, and an Master of Arts from the School of Interactive Arts and Technology, SFU. She teaches courses in the Faculty of Design at Kwantlen Polytechnic University.
