Dr Lisa Anderson
Artist with the Shinyshinyworld
I am an artist working across different media conceptually developing projects that relate to specific critical pursuits and ideas revolving around issues of landscape/environment; the body/social interaction/health and the built surface/ urban progressive destruction.
My current conceptual project shinyshinycloud is being developed as both an online work and a real world series of artworks and sculptural installations set up in various venues around the world. With my partner I have formed a small company theshinyshinyworld to facilitate collaborations in fields including cultural strategy and educational planning to support the understandings of shared creativity.
I have been invited to present large-scale works with the Sydney Biennale, the St Tropez Film Festival, SXS in Denmark and have undertaken residencies and projects such as appointment as the Creative Fellow in Architecture at the University of Technology, Sydney and Honorary Fellow in Creative Arts at the University of Wollongong to develop my artwork.
My role is as artist and public access collaborator in many of these projects and has included creating video and sculptural installations, painting, drawings, photographs, radio and audio works and large-scale permanent and temporary works.
