Paula Crutchlow lives with her family in Exeter, Devon. She graduated in dance from De Montfort University and has since been working in Britain and internationally as a performer, director and educator in devised theatre. As a co-founder and director of Blind Ditch she has collaborated on context-specific collaborative art, performance and cultural events which engage audiences and participants in distinct ways through the use of digital media and live performance.
In 2000, Paula completed an MA in Devised Theatre at Dartington College of Arts where she was an Associate Lecturer in Theatre until their re-location to Falmouth in 2010. She is currently the Creative Adviser for Adverse Camber devising and directing work with some of the UK’s leading storytellers, and an Associate Lecturer in Theatre and Performance at the University of Plymouth teaching Digital Performance Practice.
